Polish democracy is threatened by ethno-nationalists to whom only Polish Catholics are, or ever were, “real Poles.”  Poles who defy them by preserving their country’s Jewish past are trying to build a more open, inclusive and self-critical Poland.  The story of these “Memory Keepers” is told by Menachem Daum, a Brooklyn filmmaker and son of Holocaust survivors from Poland.
